Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Because our handcrafted soaps are personal care products, we can only accept returns on items that are completely unopened, unused and in their original packaging.
- To be eligible, the soap must still have its original label/wrapping intact and show no signs of handling.
- Once a bar of soap has been opened or the seal is broken, it is considered a final sale for hygiene and safety reasons.
To start a return, you can contact us at dinkydoo@latherbylaniskincare.com. within 7 days of delivery.Once we receive and inspect the item to establish it has not been opened or used, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1528 Keaton Drive, American Canyon, CA 94503. If your return is approved, you (the customer) are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Please include your order number and photos of the damage.
- We will gladly send a replacement or issue a refund for verified issues.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Hygiene & Safety Policy
Due to the personal nature of our handcrafted, all-natural bar soaps, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once the product has been shipped. This ensures the hygiene and safety of all our customers. We encourage you to read the full ingredient list provided on each product page to ensure the soap is a good fit for your skin type.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
You may cancel your order for a full refund as long as it has not yet been shipped. Once a shipping label has been created, we can no longer cancel or refund the order.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
